MOTIV-ACTION – How to motivate for the development of new skills?
On the morning of the 20th of September, a presentation session of the project Motiv-Action (Motivating Low-Skilled Adults in Accessing Upskilling Pathways) which is part of the Erasmus+ projects _ Adult Education, took place at Amar Terra Verde VET School for some local entities that monitors unemployed young people and adults in their path of insertion or reintegration into the labor market (GIP de Vila Verde, Casa do Povo de Ribeira do Neiva, CLDS Valoriza 4G – Amares, CLDS 4G Vila Verde, Prado Portuguese Red Cross, ACES Gerês/Cabreira, Social Security and Vila Verde City Council).
The aim of this session was to make known, to a group of 15 Technicians involved in the guidance and career management processes and 16 users of their services, the objectives of the project and the tools that already have been created so far through a visit guide to the course available on the Motiv-Action website.
During the session there was still space for some fraternization and a final moment of clarification on the work of recognition, validation and certification of competences developed by the Qualifica Center of EPATV, as an available option in the training path.
The feedback received in relation to this session was very positive, with several manifestations of curiosity about the final product of the project, it was also emphasized the importance of creating more opportunities for exchanges between guidance and career management technicians in order to validate methodologies that enhance the social and professional integration of the most vulnerable groups are developed.
